Der Songtext „Not Just Boys Fun“ von der HC Band 7 Seconds aus dem Jahre 1984 spricht für sich und kann durchaus als Motto des kommenden Events betrachtet werden.
Der Text gab uns die Idee zu unserer female fronted Hardcore Show, die bereits zum 4. Mal stattfinden wird. Sicher ist diese Klassifizierung und Begriffsbestimmung im Jahr 2019 ein wenig überholt, dennoch sind Frauen nach wie vor ein fester aktiver Bestandteil der Hardcore-Subkultur.
Frauen beim, Gesang, an den Instrumenten, Fanzines, Booking, Plattenlabel oder als Gast auf den Shows sind keine Seltenheit. In diesem Sinne wollen wir den internationalen Frauentag feiern!
Lasst uns dabei daran an die Frauen denken, die es wollen, aber nicht selber dürfen. Denn immer noch wird Geschlechter-Segregation, Verstümmelung und Ungerechtigkeit in frühmittelalterlicher Art und Weise praktiziert.
